SAF PERSONNEL HONOURED AT PRESIDENTIAL GARDEN RECEPTION

The garden reception that was held on 12 July, saw President S R Nathan recognise the contributions of both Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) regular servicemen and Operationally Ready National Servicemen (Nsmen) to the defence and security of Singapore.
President S R Nathan hosted more than 800 personnel from the SAF, the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) and the Defence Science & Technology Agency (DSTA), at the annual garden reception that was held at the Istana.
Invited guests included NSmen of the Year award winners and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence Teo Chee Hean.
