The Singapore Armed Forces' (SAF) Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Explosives (CBRE) Defence Group and the Australian Defence Force's (ADF) Incident Response Regiment are holding a CBRE exercise, code-named Exercise Star Lion, from 24 to 30 Sep.

The CBRE exercise, second between the two countries, is being hosted in Sydney by the ADF's Special Operations Command.

The exercise will enable both forces to enhance their preventive and responsive capabilities in countering CBRE threats.

In addition, it will facilitate the sharing of operational knowledge, with a particular focus on countering Chemical Improvised Explosive Devices and Radiological Dispersal Devices.
