US ARMY PACIFIC COMMANDER HERE ON VISIT

Commander of the United States Army Pacific (USARPAC), Lieutenant-General (LG) John Brown III, called on Minister for Defence Mr Teo Chee Hean, at the Ministry of Defence on 5 Apr.
During his three-day introductory visit to Singapore, LG Brown also called on Chief of Defence Force, LG Ng Yat Chung, and Chief of Army, Major-General Desmond Kuek. He also visited 6 Division.
LG Brown's visit underscores the excellent defence relationship between the US and Singapore.
The Singapore Armed Forces and USARPAC interact regularly through exercises, professional exchanges, conferences and courses.
This serves to enhance professionalism and inter-operability, as well as to build friendship and rapport between the personnel of the two Armies.
