THAI COMMANDER VISITS SINGAPORE

General (GEN) Boonsrang Niumpradit, Supreme Commander of the Royal Thai Armed Forces (RTARF), is in Singapore for a two-day introductory visit from 1 to 2 May at the invitation of Chief of Defence Force Major-General Desmond Kuek.
GEN Boonsrang called on Minister for Defence Teo Chee Hean at the Ministry of Defence on 2 May.
His visit reflects the longstanding and close defence ties between the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) and the RTARF. Both armies interact regularly through a wide range of activities, including exercises, visits, courses and professional exchanges.
These interactions help to enhance mutual understanding and friendship between the two armed forces.
