S'PORE SENDS AID TO NIAS FLOOD VICTIMS

Singapore sent a humanitarian aid package worth S$50,000 to provide relief for the flood victims of Pulau Nias on 13 Aug.
A Republic of Singapore Air Force C-130 transport plane delivered the aid package to Polonia Airport, Medan.
The aid package consisting of tentages, blankets and medical supplies was handed over to the Chief of Staff, North Sumatra Military Command, Brigadier-General Usman Basjah.
