The Republic of Singapore Air Force and the Royal Brunei Air Force are holding their annual air defence exercise from 19 Aug to 4 Sep in Singapore.

This bilateral event, codenamed Exercise Air Guard, marks the 12th edition of the series.

About 75 personnel from both air forces will deploy missile and radar systems to protect vital installations from simulated air attacks.

The exercise reflects the close, longstanding defence ties between Singapore and Brunei.

It also enhances interoperability and builds co-operation between the two air forces.
