RTAF CHIEF OF AIR STAFF MEETS SAF HUMANITARIAN ASSISTANCE TEAM

The Royal Thai Air Force Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal (ACM) Sukumpol Suwanatat, met the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) humanitarian assistance team on 30 May at the Phitsanulok Military Airport.

The SAF is in Phitsanulok, Thailand to assist the local authorities in providing humanitarian aid like medical and food supplies to the villages affected by the recent flash floods.

ACM Suwanatat thanked all the SAF officers and men for their assistance in the flood relief operations.

Since arriving in Phitsanulok, the SAF team has been working with local Thai authorities to deliver medical and food supplies to villages affected by flash floods.

They have also sent medical staff to Ban Nam Ri, a village badly hit by the floods, to treat the villagers.
