Mr Goff is in Singapore for an introductory visit from 22 to 24 Aug.
His three-day programme includes visits to Sembawang Air Base, Headquarters, Singapore Artillery and the Singapore Armed Forces' Centre for Military Experimentation.
The visit underscores the warm and long-standing defence relationship between Singapore and New Zealand.
The Singapore Armed Forces and New Zealand Defence Force have a strong history of operational cooperation, having worked together from 2000 to 2001 in the United Nations Transitional Administration in East Timor (UNTAET).
Both armed forces are currently working together in Afghanistan to undertake humanitarian assistance projects in Bamiyam Province.
