What would you do on a Friday morning? Go to a fast food restaurant for its sumptuous breakfast set or laze in bed? Ever considered getting A.C.T.I.V.E?

As part of the National Healthy Lifestyle Campaign (NHLC), A.C.T.I.V.E - All Companies Together in Various Exercises - Day is one of the many events initiated by the Health Promotion Board.

Chief of Army Major-General (MG) Desmond Kuek joined some 500 servicemen at the Army Logistics Training Centre (ALTI) in Kranji Camp on 8 Sep for the launch of the Army A.C.T.I.V.E Day.

MG Kuek launched the Total Body Workout and also flagged off the 3-km and 5-km runs.

The Army A.C.T.I.V.E Day is part of our Army's key initiative and effort to promote a vibrant fitness culture similar to that of the Fit for L.I.V.E programme, which was launched on 30 May 2006.
