DEFENCE MINISTER ATTENDS SECURITY CONFERENCE IN MUNICH

Minister for Defence Teo Chee Hean is attending the 42nd Munich Conference on Security Policy in Germany from 3 to 5 Feb.
About 250 defence and foreign ministers, parliamentarians, military commanders and security experts from over 50 countries are attending this high-level conference, where they will discuss global defence and security issues.
This year's conference agenda focuses on NATO's future role in international peacekeeping, the fight against international terrorism, and Asia's global foreign policy and security interests.
Mr Teo will be holding bilateral discussions with other government leaders, including German Defence Minister Franz Josef Jung, on the sidelines of the conference.
