CDF RECEIVES PRESTIGIOUS BRUNEIAN AWARD

Chief of Defence Force (CDF) Lieutenant-General (LG) Desmond Kuek has been conferred the Darjah Paduka Keberanian Laila Terbilang Yang Amat Gemilang Darjah Pertama (DPKT) by His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.

The investiture ceremony was held at the Istana Nurul Iman, Brunei, on 16 Aug.

While in Brunei for his three-day introductory visit from 15 to 17 Aug, LG Kuek called on the Deputy Minister of Defence Pehin Datu Singamanteri Colonel (Retired) Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohammad Yasmin bin Haji Umar.

He also met with the Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major-General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Md Yussof.
