BRUNEI LAND FORCE CHIEF RECEIVES MILITARY AWARD

Colonel (COL) Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Rosli Bin Pengiran Haji Chuchu, Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF), was conferred Singapore's prestigious military award, the Meritorious Service Medal (Military), on 11 Jan.
The medal, presented by Minister for Defence Teo Chee Hean at an investiture ceremony at the Ministry of Defence, was awarded to COL Pengiran Rosli for his outstanding contributions to fostering excellent ties between the RBLF and the Singapore Army.
Besides bilateral exercises like Maju Bersama and Bold Castle, COL Pengiran Rosli has also actively enhanced the professional rapport and camaradarie between the personnel of the two armies.
Before the investiture ceremony, COL Pengiran Rosli called on Mr Teo and Chief of Defence Force Lieutenant-General Ng Yat Chung.
While in Singapore, the Bruneian commander will observe Exercise Maju Bersama, with Chief of Army Major-General Desmond Kuek.
This exercise involves 500 personnel from 42nd Battalion, Singapore Armoured Regiment and the RBLF's 2nd Infantry Battalion.
