BRITISH DEFENCE OFFICIAL MEETS MINISTER TEO

The visiting British Minister of State for the Armed Forces, Mr Adam Ingram (left in picture), called on Minister for Defence, Mr Teo Chee Hean, at the Ministry of Defence on 12 Sep.
Mr Ingram, who is in Singapore for a three-day visit from 10 to 12 Sep, also attended a service that was held at the Kranji War Cemetery to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the end of World War II in the Asia-Pacific.
Singapore and the United Kingdom have a warm and long-standing defence relationship.
The armed forces and defence establishments of both countries interact regularly through policy dialogues, joint training, and in bilateral as well as Five Power Defence Arrangements exercises.
