SWEDISH ARMED FORCES CHIEF CALLS ON MR TEO

The Supreme Commander of the Swedish Armed Forces General (GEN) Hakan Syren called on Minister for Defence Teo Chee Hean on 9 Jan.
GEN Syren is visiting Singapore from 7 to 10 Jan at the invitation of Chief of Defence Force Lieutenant-General Ng Yat Chung.
GEN Syren's visit underscores the good and long-standing defence relations between Singapore and Sweden.
The defence establishments of both countries interact regularly through visits, joint exercises, military courses and technology collaboration.
While in Singapore, GEN Syren will visit Changi Naval Base and the Singapore Armed Forces' Centre for Military Experimentation.
