S'PORE, MALAYSIA HOLDS JOINT EXERCISE

Singapore's Chief of Army, Major-General (MG) Desmond Kuek, and his Malaysian counterpart, General (GEN) Dato' Sri Abdul Aziz bin Haji Zainal, jointly officiated at the closing ceremony of Ex Semangat Bersatu in Pahang on 21 Aug.
Involving officers and men from the 3rd Battalion, Singapore Infantry Regiment (3 SIR), 10th Singapore Infantry Brigade (10 SIB), 10th Royal Malaysian Regiment and 7th Malaysian Infantry Brigade, Ex Semangat Bersatu provided a good opportunity for the two armies to raise the level of professional interaction.
The exercise was the twelfth in the series of bilateral exercises held annually between the two armies.
