S'PORE, M'SIAN NAVIES EXERCISE TOGETHER

The Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN) and the Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) are taking part in Exercise Malapura, which will be conducted in the Malacca Straits till 2 Dec.

RSN Fleet Commander Rear Admiral Chew Men Leong and RMN Fleet Operations Commander Vice Admiral Dato' Mohammad bin Nik jointly officiated at the exercise's opening ceremony at Lumut Naval Base on 23 Nov.

Six ships from the two navies will be involved in conventional naval warfare and maritime security serials during the exercise.
