S'PORE, M'SIAN DEFENCE MINISTERS MEET IN KL

Minister for Defence Teo Chee Hean called on his Malaysian counterpart Dato' Sri Mohd Najib bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak in Kuala Lumpur on 29 Jan.
Mr Teo is in Malaysia for an official visit from 28 to 30 Jan.
Both ministers reaffirmed the longstanding relationship between the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) and the Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF).
Mr Teo discussed the regional security situation, Five Power Defence Arrangements (FPDA), and the ongoing cooperation in maritime security with Dato' Najib Tun Razak, who is also the Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia.
On 28 Jan, Mr Teo visited the Headquarters Integrated Area Defence System (HQ IADS) at Butterworth, Penang.
He will deliver a speech at the MAF Defence College on 30 Jan.
