S'PORE, BRUNEI IN AIR EXERCISE

About 70 personnel from the Republic of Singapore Air Force and the Royal Brunei Air Force are taking part in a bilateral air defence exercise from 15 to 26 Aug.
Held in Brunei for the first time, the 12-day Exercise Airguard is the eleventh in the series.
It is an excellent opportunity for the two air forces to strengthen their inter-operability and further enhance the close relationship between the two armed forces.
The Chief of the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF), Major-General (MG) Lim Kim Choon, is in Brunei from 22 to 24 Aug to observe the conduct of EX Airguard.
While in Brunei, MG Lim will also call on Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, Pehin Major-General Dato Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, and his counterpart, Commander of the Royal Brunei Air Force, Colonel Dato Haji Mahmud bin Haji Saidin.
