PHILIPPINE NAVY CHIEF CALLS ON DEFENCE MINISTER

Flag-Officer-in-Command of the Philippine Navy Vice-Admiral (VADM) Rogelio Calunsag called on Minister for Defence Teo Chee Hean on 3 Apr.
VADM Calunsag, who was in Singapore on a three-day introductory visit at the invitation of Chief of Navy Rear-Admiral Ronnie Tay, also called on Chief of Defence Force Major-General Desmond Kuek earlier that day.
His visit reflects the warm and friendly ties between the Singapore Armed Forces and the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
Personnel of both armed forces interact regularly in bilateral exchanges such as cross-attendance of each other's professional courses.
