PHILIPPINE DEFENSE SECRETARY VISITS

The Philippine Secretary of National Defense Gilberto C Teodoro Jr is in Singapore for an introductory visit.

Mr Teodoro called on Minister for Defence Teo Chee Hean on 15 Nov and Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on 16 Nov.

He also visited the Army Museum, Changi Air Base, the Defence Science & Technology Agency, the Civil Defence Academy and Parliament House.

Mr Teodoro s visit underscores the warm and friendly defence ties between Singapore and the Philippines. Both countries conduct regular bilateral interactions, including professional military exchanges and cross-attendance of courses.


Mr Teodoro calls on Mr Teo at the Ministry of Defence.
