MINISTER FOR DEFENCE WITH FOREIGN DEFENCE GUESTS

Minister for Defence Teo Chee Hean met with several senior defence officials on 22 Feb. They were in Singapore for Asian Aerospace 2006.
The foreign guests included Deputy Prime Ministers and Co-Ministers of National Defence GEN Tea Banh and GEN Nhiek Bun Chhay of Cambodia, accompanied by the Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Cambodian Army GEN Meas Sophea; Vice-Minister of Defence Filippo Berselli of Italy; Indonesian Chief of Navy ADM Slamet Soebijanto and Vice Director, Science & Technology Committee of the General Equipment Headquarters MG Xu Xiaoyan of China.
Mr Teo also met with several defence officials on 21 Feb at Changi Exhibition Centre, where Asian Aerospace 2006 was held. They were Under-Secretary of Bahrain Defence Force GEN Dr Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chief of Staff French Air Force GEN Richard Wolsztynski and DGA Director of International Deployment IGA Jean-Paul Panie of France.
The minister hosted an official dinner for the guests that evening.
