INDONESIAN ARMY CHIEF OF STAFF VISITS SINGAPORE

The Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Army (TNI-AD), General (GEN) George Toisutta, called on Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence Teo Chee Hean at the Ministry of Defence on 8 Jun.
In Singapore for an introductory visit from 7 to 9 Jun, GEN Toisutta also called on Chief of Defence Force Major-General Neo Kian Hong and Chief of Army Brigadier-General Chan Chun Sing.
On 9 Jun, GEN Toisutta visited the Murai Urban Training Facility.
GEN Toisutta's visit underscores the close and long-standing defence relations between Singapore and Indonesia. The armies of both countries interact extensively and regularly through bilateral exercises and professional exchanges. These interactions strengthen the mutual understanding and camaraderie between the personnel of the two armies.
