FINNISH DEFENCE MINISTER VISITS S'PORE

Finland's Minister of Defence Seppo Arimo Kaariainen called on his Singapore counterpart Teo Chee Hean at the Ministry of Defence on 29 Mar.

Dr Kaariainen is in Singapore for a three-day introductory visit from 28 to 30 Mar.

This is the first visit by a Finnish defence minister to Singapore.

Dr Kaariainen will be visiting SAFTI Military Institute and Singapore Technologies Kinetics.

His visit reflects the friendly defence relations between Singapore and Finland.
