DR NG ENG HEN IN NEW ZEALAND

Minister for Manpower and Second Minister for Defence Ng Eng Hen will be in New Zealand for a visit from 31 Jan to 5 Feb.
During his visit, Dr Ng will meet with several government leaders and senior officials, including Minister of Defence Phil Goff and Minister of Labour Ruth Dyson.
He will also visit the New Zealand Defence Force's headquarters and the Devonport Naval Base in Auckland.
On 4 Feb, Dr Ng will observe Exercise Thunder Warrior, an artillery live-firing exercise held by the Singapore Armed Forces in Waiouru.
The exercise has been conducted annually in New Zealand since 1997.
Dr Ng's visit underscores the warm defence ties between Singapore and New Zealand. The armed forces of both countries interact regularly through exercises, visits and courses.
