DEFENCE MINISTER VISITS BRUNEI

Mr Teo's three-day visit to Brunei is hosted by the Deputy Minister of Defence Pehin Datu Singamanteri Colonel (Ret) Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Mohammad Yasmin bin Haji Umar.
As part of his visit, Mr Teo also had an audience with the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah.
He also met the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, and the Minister of Energy in the Prime Minister's Office.
Mr Teo is scheduled to have an audience with President of the Bruneian National Olympic Council His Royal Highness Prince Haji Sufri Bolkiah on 31 Oct.
Singapore and Brunei enjoy strong defence ties. The armed forces of both countries have a longstanding friendship, and conduct a wide range of bilateral exercises and professional interactions.
