Vice-Admiral (VADM) Jan-Willem Kelder, Commander of the Royal Netherlands Navy, called on Minister for Defence Teo Chee Hean at the Ministry of Defence on 17 Jan.

VADM Kelder is on a visit to Singapore from 16 to 18 Jan at the invitation of Chief of Navy Rear-Admiral (RADM) Ronnie Tay.

VADM Kelder's visit underscores the friendly defence relations between Singapore and the Netherlands. Both armed forces interact through military courses, visits and other professional exchanges.
