BRUNEI'S NAVY CHIEF CALLS ON MR TEO

Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy, Colonel (COL) Joharie Bin Haji Matussin, called on Minister for Defence Teo Chee Hean on 30 Apr.

COL Joharie also called on Chief of Navy, Rear-Admiral (RADM) Chew Men Leong.

The commander's visit underscores the longstanding and excellent defence relations between the Singapore Armed Forces and the Royal Brunei Armed Forces.

Both navies interact frequently through professional exchanges and bilateral exercises such as Exercise Pelican, which has been conducted since 1979.
