NEW COMMANDER TAKES OVER APGC

Colonel (COL) Sarbjit Singh took over as Commander Air Power Generation Command (APGC) from COL Tan Kah Han in a simple change of command parade at Paya Lebar Air Base on 17 Apr.
Praising COL Singh for his skills as a pilot and expressing confidence in his leadership abilities, COL Tan said at the parade: "His tenacity, stamina and eye for detail are things that I admire. He is well-suited to take over me."
COL Singh joined the Republic of Singapore Air Force on 17 Jan 1983. Since then, he has done operational flying on both the F-5 and F-16 aircraft and served many senior staff and command appointments.
Prior to his appointment as Commander APGC, he was Commander Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Command.
APGC's mission is to generate and sustain effective, timely and robust air power to achieve the Singapore Armed Forces' mission.
