Major Ivan Du, 32, Senior Instructor, Joint Intelligence School

With his hunky physique and good looks, Major (MAJ) Ivan Du looks every bit the hot bod, but he is in fact a closet nerd. He hits the museums and reads heavy topics like history, politics and investing.

His intellect is perhaps what enables him to shine as an intelligence officer in the Guards formation. A senior instructor in the Joint Intelligence School, he trains future intel officers in the art of collecting and analysing intelligence.

"There is no textbook answer... It's like a mini poker game where you always have to be one step ahead and try to outsmart your opponent," said MAJ Du.

Away from work, the father of two is every bit the family man. His weekends are filled with quality time spent with his wife and sons. "My life revolves around my family because I think that that's a basic unit to everything. We just do everything together."
