'Cutting Edge' is an exciting and insightful half-hour documentary that takes a close look at the Singapore Armed Forces' (SAF) defence capabilities through the years.
In the 1960s, when the SAF was in its formative years, the Ministry of Defence recognised the value of research and technology in enhancing the operational efficiency of the SAF.
Today, the important work done by home-grown defence science organisations such as the Defence Science & Technology Agency (DSTA) and DSO National Laboratories keeps the SAF at the forefront of technological development.
