And make sure you wave the Singapore flag proudly, especially when the Republic of Singapore Air Force's aircraft fly by overhead or when the Guard-of-Honour contingents march onto the Padang! On 9 Aug, the gates to the Padang will be open from 3:30 pm, and all spectators at the Padang should be seated by 5 pm. Please follow the instructions printed on the back of your ticket and enter the Padang from the correct sector.
