Thinking of somewhere you can go with the whole family to unwind and enjoy an afternoon of good music?

Look no further than the Esplanade's Concert Hall, where the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) Central Band will be presenting a wide selection of light classics in collaboration with the Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay on 9 Apr.

The repertoire for the 'Beautiful Sunday' performance includes John Williams's Olympics theme 'Summon The Heroes', as well as a performance of the first movement of Johan de Meij's T-bone Concerto with trombone soloist David Wong.

Latin-music lovers will enjoy Chuck Rio's Tequila, while fans of Earth, Wind and Fire can expect a medley of their hits arranged for the wind band.

There will be something for the young ones too, with music from 'The Incredibles' and the soundtrack of 'Harry Potter'.

Admission to 'Beautiful Sunday' is free and on a first-come, first-served basis.
