JAPANESE DEFENCE MINISTER CALLS ON MR TEO

The Japanese Minister of State for Defence, Mr Yoshinori Ohno, called on Minister for Defence, Mr Teo Chee Hean, at the Ministry of Defence on 10 Jan.

Mr Ohno is in Singapore as part of his introductory visit to the region.

During his two-day stay in Singapore, Mr Ohno will visit Changi Naval Base, and also call on Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew, and Deputy Prime Minister and Co-ordinating Minister for Security and Defence, Dr Tony Tan.
