Start training your eye focusing power if you do not want to miss a second of the specially crafted aerial displays, which will be performed by the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF).

The Air Force will be showcasing 44 aircraft this year to celebrate National Day.

And to heat things up this year, there will be exciting aerial displays that you will not want to miss.

Three CH-47D Chinook two Super Puma helicopters will fly in 'Vic' formation, followed closely by three large fixed-wing aircraft -
C-130 Hercules transport aircraft, Fokker-50 and E-2C Airborne Early Warning aircraft.

Following them will be a KC-135 Stratotanker, which will be making its first appearance in a National Day Parade (NDP) flypast.

It will be accompanied by four F-5 Tiger fighter jets behind its wings.

The climax of the entire aerial display will consist of five F-16s performing heart-pumping manoeuvres.

This challenging segment will see the F-16 aircraft doing daring cross-overs at a high speed of 600km/h.

In addition, a high-G turn will be done by the flight lead of the aerial bomb-burst.

The aerial display will also extend to the heartland celebration venues with three F-16 fighter jets roaring overhead Tampines, Yishun and Jurong East in an arrowhead formation.

The large KC-135 Stratotanker will be featured for the first time in an NDP flypast.
Chairman of air participation, COL Tan Kah Han said the RSAF will be showcasing all the aircraft it has and demonstrating challenging manoeuvres.
