MR TEO CALLS ON FRENCH DEFENCE MINISTER

Minister for Defence Teo Chee Hean called on French Defence Minister Herv Morin in Paris on 4 Apr.
During their meeting, both ministers reaffirmed the warm and extensive defence relationship between Singapore and France. They also discussed security issues of mutual interest.
Mr Teo, who is on a five-day working visit to France, also visited the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) servicemen at the advanced jet training detachment at the Cazaux Air Base.
In Toulon, he witnessed the successful live firing of the Aster Surface-to-Air missile by RSS Intrepid, a Republic of Singapore Navy stealth frigate.
